On his first full LP release through Puddle, Koiwa shares this massive collection of 14 immersive tracks that showcase his domain of evocative, slow evolving textures, drone soundscapes and noise layers that transport the listener into a fully contemplative state. It features five varied reworks of his single ‘smrsms’ by the artists ‘Matt Cianfo, ‘Pablo Reche’, ‘maeri, ‘Catu Hardoy’ and ‘Eric Olsen’ which mark the different stages of instrospection that this album has to offer.

Hope it's not too much to say, but after listening to side A, I sighed like after waking up & really feeling rested & ready for the world again. Very comforting, so delicately crafted and restorative. It's on a level that seems seldom reached, & I really think it would help to have more at this height / depth. Compulsory listening valvestat
